Frequently asked questions

Most people notice less snoring from the very first night. In our customer survey, 94% reported a clear reduction within a week. It can take two or three nights to get used to wearing it.

Try Nitey for 60 nights, risk-free. If it doesn't stop your snoring, we refund you. How it works, step by step, is on the guarantee page.

Snoring happens when the airway narrows during sleep and the soft tissue in your throat vibrates. Nitey holds your lower jaw slightly forward, which keeps the airway open. It's the same principle dentists use in custom mouthguards that cost $1,000 or more.

Some people feel mild tightness in the jaw or teeth for the first few mornings. It usually fades within a week as you get used to it. Start at the neutral setting and only move it forward if you still snore. If discomfort doesn't go away, stop using it and talk to your dentist.

It's made of soft, medical-grade silicone and has a low profile. Most people stop noticing it after the first week. You can still breathe through your mouth while wearing it.

Warm it in hot water for about 30 seconds, place it in your mouth and bite down gently. It takes about two minutes, and you can re-mold it if the fit isn't right the first time.

Yes. Nitey adjusts up to 8 mm. Start at the neutral setting and move it forward a little at a time until the snoring stops and it still feels comfortable.

If you have braces, dentures, loose teeth, ongoing dental work or jaw (TMJ) problems, talk to your dentist before using Nitey.

Nitey is designed to reduce snoring. Loud snoring with pauses in breathing or gasping can be a sign of sleep apnea, which needs a doctor's diagnosis. If that sounds like you, talk to your doctor before using Nitey.

Nitey is made of medical-grade silicone that is BPA-free, latex-free and hypoallergenic.

With nightly use and proper care, a mouthpiece lasts up to 6 months, often longer. Rinse it after each use and keep it in the storage case.
